Biography

Abhishek Singh is a PhD student at Purdue University affiliated with the Vlachos Research Group and the Predictive Science Laboratory, and he received his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi. His research develops physics-informed and Bayesian inverse methods for reconstructing flow dynamics from low-dimensional, sparse, and noisy measurements.

He works on uncertainty-informed cerebral aneurysm prediction, automated 4D Flow MRI segmentation and hemodynamic quantification, and end-to-end 3D PIV/PTV processing pipelines. Applications span in vitro and in vivo studies of cerebral aneurysms, cardiac flows, cerebrospinal fluid transport, and biomechanics, including snake tongue flicking.
